Nestled in the northwoods amid lakes, forest, bogs, fields and orchards, our farmers market is a vibrant hub where the bounty of local farms and artisans comes to life. With a long row of colorful stalls, the air alive with the scent of freshly picked produce, and the cheerful chatter of vendors and shoppers alike, this market is more than just a place to buy groceries—it's a celebration of the land and its rich offerings.
Join us as we explore the freshest, most delicious, and locally sourced goods that our region has to offer. From farm-fresh produce to handmade crafts and artisanal treats, our farmers market is where the community comes together to support local growers and savor the flavors of the season.
Vendors are required to provide a Certificate of General Liability Insurance coverage for their booth and products, as our program’s insurance does not extend to individual vendor property or liability.
We recommend you contact your current insurance provider for a commercial policy. Here are some other policies that have been recommended by some of our vendors:
FLIP (Food Liability Insurance Program - for food, produce, etc.)
ACT Insurance (Artisans, Crafters, Tradesmen Insurance - for other than food)
Use coupon code erfm5 (case sensitive) for discount on the above two providers
Vendors must hold a valid Wisconsin Seller’s Permit and provide the number during registration, unless exempt; for details on exemptions or to apply, visit the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
Vendors are responsible for checking with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) and the Vilas County Public Health Department to ensure they have all required licenses or permits to sell their specific products or services. For local health-related questions, contact Amy Springer, Environmental Health Program Supervisor/Registered Sanitarian, at (715) 479-3777.
